About

29 Years of Golf, Friendship,
and Giving Back

Since its founding nearly three decades ago, the Polar Bear Golf Open has united our Dublin community in an extraordinary tradition of generosity and camaraderie.

What began as a winter golf challenge among friends has grown into one of the city’s signature fundraising events — supporting Rotary’s local and global projects in education, clean water, and humanitarian relief.

Each February, brave golfers and kind hearts come together — proving that compassion shines brightest, even in the cold.

Do you know how many Polar Bears are now living in Columbus Zoo?

Dubin AM Rotary Club in Dublin, Ohio, boasts 100 dedicated members who work together to offer impactful community service both locally and globally. The funds raised from this Show will go into Dublin AM Rotary Charitable Foundation, to support local charities and community service projects, such as Dublin Food Pantry, High School Scholarships, Dublin High School Robotics funding, Tolles Scholarships, and Dublin Community Bands etc.

Rotary International is a global humanitarian organization that brings together business and professional leaders to provide community service. With over 1.2 million members worldwide, Rotary work on diverse projects that address challenges such as health, education, and poverty.

Our Mission: Swing for Giving.

We play for purpose. Every swing supports Rotary’s work to improve lives — right here in Dublin and around the world.

From youth scholarships to clean water initiatives, from local food pantries to global health programs, your participation helps us transform goodwill into action.
